Grace and peace be unto each of you!
First, I thank the Lord who is in control of every matter, including this unprecedented pandemic. The Lord is
protecting each of us and our families and guiding us as a church to the best and safest path during these un-
certain situations. We continue to pray for God’s protection, provision, and power upon us in physical, emo-
tional and spiritual matters.

As a God-fearing pastor, I love people, especially the people He has entrusted me to pastor. Truly, God has
called me to watch over your souls. He has also mandated me to alert the people of God to seek Him for the
answer. We are adhering to what the CDC is advising. We’re wearing masks, washing our hands for at least
20 seconds, socially distancing ourselves 6 feet apart, but the Coronavirus is still here! People are being
murdered and dying daily, joblessness and domestic violence is at an all-time high, financial woes, stress and
mental matters are prevalent on top of COVID 19. I just want to let you know that JESUS Is The Answer For
The World Today, Above Him There’s No Other, JESUS is the way!

Therefore, I am happy to inform you about what God is about to do! New Bethlehem Missionary Baptist
Church will be Re-opening for In-person Worship Service, Sunday, August 23. We will have two services,
8 am and 10:30 am. Now, for things to flow, we have Registration for the service you choose to at-
tend. Registration is necessary because seating is limited. We will follow all the precautionary procedures to
prevent the spread of the virus, while we are in person worship.

The Environmental Safety Protection Committee is working diligently to ensure everything is in place for
our safety. More information is forthcoming as to the guidelines we must follow to maintain a safe worship
environment. Please go to the church’s website, nbbc.info to obtain the registration form. Remember seating
is limited, and your seat will be reserved on a first register, first serve basis.

Thank you for your continued prayers for me and our church family. Thank you for your continued prayers,
giving, and support for the ministry of New Bethlehem. Remember, ONLY what we do for Christ will last!

Keep Looking Up,
Pastor T. Jefferson Rogers, Jr.

New Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church Press Release:
NBBC Plan for Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Greetings New Bethlehem Family in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord! “The Lord has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.” (2 Timothy 1:7).  I watch and care about your souls! And, I also want you to know, I’m concerned for your safety. The Coronavirus is impacting individuals, in all areas of life. Therefore, we will take every precautionary action possible to maintain a safe environment, by implementing the following, to combat the  Coronavirus, also known as COVID-19.

First, we will continue to have Sunday School at 9:15 am, Sunday Worship Service at 10:30 am, and Bible.  Study on Tuesday, at 6:00 pm and Wednesday, at 10:00 am. At every door, someone will have hand sanitizer or alcohol spray bottles to spray your hands, as you enter and as you leave the sanctuary and other areas of the church.
Secondly, if the Coronavirus still does not get any better and the authorities mandate that we do not gather, we will respect the decision and details will be given as to how we will conduct services at that time.  So, I hope to see you this Sunday! Come expecting God to move mightily on your behalf. We will use wisdom, but we will not be ruled by fear. However, if you are sick, feel sick, have any illnesses that make you feel at risk, or if you are elderly with a chronic illness, please stay home and watch the services LIVE via the Internet @ www.goodnewsofjesus.org or on our church’s APP @ Good News of Jesus. And, if you do not have provision to get the services by internet or the APP, we will provide you with a DVD or CD of the service, at no charge. But, as for now, let’s have church, and give the Lord our praise! As always, I love you and I am praying for you.

In His Service,

Pastor T. Jefferson Rogers, Jr.
