The Matrons are women working harmoniously together in expanding a vast missionary program for the purpose of mission and education. The purpose of the Matron’s Ministry is to unite young women of the Baptist church of the nation in a progressive enterprise, and to encourage a regular participation in the Missionary Program of the Baptist, District, State, National, International or Worldwide Missions. Our purpose is to train young women in systematic Bible study, daily prayer, mission study, and definite personal services.

The main work or duties of the Matrons are set forth in the purpose of the organization. The Matrons must be dedicated Christian women.

Some of our duties consists of but not limited to (ie, teach our children the importance of Church and its worship, be of personal service and visit the sick and shut-in, and worship the Almighty in our homes and abroad).
